The Center for Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine provides natural forms of Injection Therapy. This
includes Acu-Point Injection Therapy (APIT), as well as Biopuncture
Therapy. These procedures involve injecting small amounts of natural
substances into acupuncture points and affected areas of the body
to promote healing.
Depending on the condition, Dr. Wei may use ultra-low-dose formulations
of natural substances, vitamins, herbal extracts, or saline solution
during the injections. All formulations used during these procedures
are designed specifically for injection purposes to ensure safety.
APIT
gives patients both the pharmacological benefit of the substance
being injected, and a long lasting stimulation of the Acupuncture
Point being treated. Biopuncture is also very effective and is
especially important for those with more severe forms of chronic
pain. Injections are also available using formulas that support
the immune system and cell metabolism in general.
